Podcast Contact Form was built by a podcaster for podcasters. By using my own podcast community as test subjects I believe I have a good understanding of what podcast listeners want.

  • One location for everything. With other services, we were getting audio feedback and written comments in separate email or on completely separate services. (e.g. we would get a Google voice message and a separate email with comments about their recording). Giving a listener the ability to record their voicemail and submit a text comment all in one spot reduces the workload for everyone involved.
  • Plenty of options including the ability to submit text, recorder their voice right on your feedback page, upload a high quality recording from their computer, and an easy way to answer a community question.
  • Don’t waste your audience’s time with too many fields! I’ve made sure that all the fields can be set to optional. By giving users this simple option they’re able to fill in only the fields they care about.

INNOVATION

I have mapped out a multiyear plan to improve upon Podcast Contact Form. I already have ideas for improving the plugin and adding elements that will take listener engagement to another level.
